The Opus Dining Room, aft of Entertainment Place, features décor inspired by the 1920s French Art Deco movement, Emile Ruhlmann whose work featured elegant lighting, simple shapes and beautiful wood. The striking centre piece of the dining room is Laurie Kaplowitz's masterpiece titled 'Genesis' standing at nearly 27 feet in height.

Spanning from decks 3 to 5 and seating 3056 guests, the dining room opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a variety of different seating arrangements.

From 7.00am to 9.00am, deck 3 opens for both express and à la carte breakfast with a choice of food either from the buffet or ordered off the menu. Selections are similar to those in Windjammers cafe ranging from sausages, bacon and eggs cooked in numerous ways to French toast, cereals, pastries, breads and fresh fruit.

Lunch, served from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and again on deck 3, features a Brasserie 30 menu (designed to enable guests complete their meal in 30 minutes) and includes a “Tutti” salad bar with everything from lettuce, tomatoes, eggs, sweetcorn and grated carrots to meats, prawns, tuna, cheeses and breads.

At night the menu changes daily offering guests something different to choose from every day. Each menu has a different name which influences the dishes served and includes Saffron, Mojo, Pimiento, Shitake, Jasmine, Basil and Pomodoro. The menu also features always available items (such as salmon, chicken, steak and pasta) along with Chef’s inspiration. The daily changing options consist of starters, main courses and desserts. Vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free and “Vitality” healthy options are indicated beside the menu choices.

Examples of dishes on offer include smoked fish rillettes, spinach salad and escargots for starters, mains of seafood spaghetti, marinated grilled pork chops and slow-roasted prime rib with desserts such as carrot cake, low fat mango pudding and crème brulee.

Evening dining times in Opus are My Time Dining on deck 5 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, with fixed dining main seating on decks 3&4 at 6.00pm and second seating at 8.30pm.

Situated along the Royal Promenade on deck 5 with seating for 66 guests, the complimentary eatery also serves daily specials such as Panini of the day, antipasto including roasted peppers, olives and pancetta, salad, breads and desserts from ameretti biscotti to pana cotta and tiramisu.

Giovanni’s Table is Oasis’s Tuscan styled casual Italian eatery with an emphasis on family (children over 13 only).

Located along the tree-lined Central Park neighbourhood guests can enjoy a visit to the 96 seat restaurant open for lunch from noon until 1.30pm ($15.00 per head) and dinner from 6.00pm to 9.30pm ($20.00 per head). From braised meat dishes and stews to Focaccia, salads and pastas, diners can opt to dine indoor or al fresco.

With reservations recommended, particularly for dinner, the menu comprises of appetizers and salads, soups, pasta dishes, entrees and desserts with examples as follows:

Entertainment is also provided on a number of occasions throughout the day when the waiters perform a song and dance in the trademark Johnny Rockets restaurant style tradition.

The ships 50’s style ice cream parlour can be found on deck 6 along the Boardwalk and seats 60 guests.

Open from around 11am until midnight the parlour provides passengers with a host of flavours and toppings to choose from with à la carte prices starting at $2.00 per scoop.

Flavours range from peanut butter, chocolate chip, cookies and cream and mango panacotta to cappuccino, rocky road, Golden Apple frozen yogurt and strawberry sorbet.

The ice cream is available in cones or cups, priced at $2.00 for one scoop, $2.75 for two, $3.50 for three and $3.95 for four. Waffle cones are an additional $0.75. Toppings are $0.25 per topping and include Graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, chocolate flakes, walnuts, Oreos, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and sprinkles.

Park Cafe is a casual-dining, walk-up, gourmet market with something for everyone located along Central Park on deck 8 and seating 100 guests.

Featuring walk up counters, breakfast options include Danish pastries, muffins and croissants, cheese and ham Panini’s, cereals, oatmeal, and fresh fruit along with a create-your-own bagel station, with a selection of fillings from smoked salmon with different flavoured cream cheeses to cold cuts of meats and cheese. One of the most talked about sandwiches at the Park Café is the roast beef Panini, with a special horseradish sauce served in a salted bun.

For lunch, the bagel station turns into a salad station to create your own salad with options ranging from lettuce, onions, carrots and sweetcorn to tuna, prawns, ham and chicken. Ready prepared salads such as Waldorf and mixed bean salads are also available along with made-to-order sandwiches (including the infamous roast beef sandwiches served in a salted roll), Panini’s and a choice of two soups.

The dessert counter offers cookies, cheese cakes, brownies and tarts along with fresh fruit cups.

Windjammer on deck 16 seats 719 guests and offers buffet-style breakfasts and lunches. In the evenings, the café’s casual atmosphere is complemented by a changing menu and restaurant style service.

For breakfast, Windjammer offers differently prepared eggs, French toast, waffles, pancakes, donuts, bread, cold cuts, cereals, and fresh fruits along with Asian dishes including soups and rice and noodle dishes Many of the food islands offer international food at the Windjammer. Choices include roast beef, salad bar, Asian buffet, pasta, hamburgers, hot dogs, soups, fruits, cold cuts and cheese.

Serving stations for the remainder of the day feature pasta dishes, Asian and Mexican fare, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, a carvery, fresh fruits and desserts.

Chefs Table is an exclusive interactive multi-course wine pairing dinner hosted each night by an Oasis of the Seas Chef.

Held in the mezzanine level of the Concierge Club on deck12, with reservations required and a cover charge of $95 per head (which includes gratuities), the Chef’s Table offers guests a unique dinning experience served at a private 14 seat table.

Prior to each course, the sous chef introduces and explains the preparation of the dish. The sommelier then follows up with a description of the wine pairings and at the end of the meal guests receive an autographed Savor cookbook to take home with them.

Guests gather in the library at 7.30pm before the meal to enjoy a glass of champagne and meet fellow diners before being taken to the Concierge Club for their dining experience from the set menu, an example of which is below.

The 1940s-style Cupcake Cupboard on deck 5 situated along the Royal Promenade with seating for 10 features freshly baked cupcakes in an array of flavours with a different special each day, plus private decorating parties and cupcake design classes.

Flavours range from vanilla, red velvet, cappuccino and Oreo to apple pie cinnamon, bubblegum, root beer and strawberry shortcake.

Cupcakes cost $1.50 for mini cupcakes, $2.75 for regular ones or $14.95 for six and $30.95 for 12.

Cupcake Cupboard’s decorating parties and classes are priced at $22 for adults and $15 for children. The 30 minute class shows guests how to decorate cupcakes such as a hamburger cupcake for adults to make and frosting and sprinkles for children to decorate with.

Room Service is available onboard any time of the day and night. Whilst it is complimentary, any orders between midnight and 5am incur a service charge of $3.95 per delivery.

Room Service can be ordered from the room service menu located in staterooms - either via the stateroom phone or interactive TV service.

Breakfast service is available between 7.00am and 10.00am daily (with the exception of departure morning) and orders need to be placed prior to 3.00am on the outside door handle of guests staterooms on the order forms provided. Food available for breakfast includes a selection of juices and hot beverages, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, tomatoes, toast and a selection of pastries and preserves.

For the remainder of the day and night guests can choose from soup of the day, fruit plates, Caesar salad, Mediterranean chicken salad, smoked salmon and brie sandwiches, turkey and Swiss cheese Panini, steak sandwiches, fried chicken, beef burgers, spinach and artichoke dip, breaded fish, cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. Desserts include a cheese plate, chocolate and pear tart, raspberry cheesecake and cookies. Hot beverages and milk are also available.

Character Breakfasts take place in the Opus Dining Room on deck 3 where characters from hugely popular films such as Shrek®, Madagascar™ and Kung Fu Panda® visit guests for photo opportunities whilst they enjoy their breakfast. The DreamWorks-inspired menu features a wide array of choices including yoghurt selections, cereals, fruits, chocolate pastries, scrambled eggs, omelettes, pancakes and waffles.

For parents a menu featuring traditional à la carte breakfast items and coffee is available. DreamWorks Character Dining (including coffee, tea, water, iced tea or lemonade) is included in the price of the cruise.

With doors opening from 7.45am for a prompt 8.00am start, reservations are required.
My Time Dining

My Time Dining allows guests to enjoy dinner in the main dining room, while reserving their preferred seating times during their cruise holiday.

To ensure prompt seating, reservations for each evening are strongly encouraged and can be made pre-cruise or once guests board. Due to demands for seating in the main dining room varying nightly, especially following evening shows, it is recommended that guests reserve their preferred dinner times as early as possible, especially if done after boarding.

Daily Reservations is an online reservation system for guests enrolled in the My Time Dining program via royalcaribbean.co.uk and can be accessed from the 'Book Cruise Add-Ons' link at the foot of the page Through Daily Reservations. It allows My Time Dining guests to make their preferred reservations in the main dining room for each night of the cruise themselves, as well as including other guests at their table. Reservations are subject to availability and as guests may be served by a different wait team each evening, any guest wishing to take up My Time Dining must pre pay their service charge (gratuities) as part of their booking.

Reservations can be made anywhere from 3 months before sailing, up to 4 days prior to sailing, or once guests arrive on board at the My Time Dining Reservations Desk

Reservations are available between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm, although these times can vary depending on where the ship is sailing. Availability of times will be shown when guests book and some time slots may already be fully booked so guests will have to find the nearest suitable alternative.

Guests can choose to share their table with other guests, or just dine with their own party. Sharing preferences cannot be guaranteed although the maitre’d on the ship will make every effort to accommodate the guest’s sharing preference onboard.

My Family Time Dining allows kids to enjoy a complete dinner within 45 minutes, freeing parents to enjoy coffee and dessert at their leisure. Available only during the first seating in the main dining room and for those registered in the complimentary Adventure Ocean Youth Programme and My Family Time Dining, once seated kids are served immediately and then met by Adventure Ocean counsellors at the main dining room entrances at 6:45p.m. to be taken back to the Adventure Ocean spaces for on-going evening activities, while parents can continue to enjoy their dinner.

The solarium on deck 15 is catered for by its own 128 seat bistro providing guests with a health conscious dining option for breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast (served from 7.00am to 10.30am) includes yogurts, granola, fruit, salmon, turkey bacon, eggs and bagels.

Lunch (served from noon until 3.00pm) offers wraps, salads, pasta dishes, couscous, fresh fruits, soups such as gazpacho and miso, tacos and desserts such as granola berry cups, yogurts and cookies.

At night the bistro is transformed into an exclusive tranquil resort style restaurant where guests can dine beneath the stars. Each dish is 500 calories or less and a dining fee of $20 per person applies (children must be aged 13 or over to dine here).

150 Central Park offers a one-of-a-kind degustation menu and distinct dining experience. The 76 seat restaurant is open to children over 13 and features textiles and fixtures inspired by nature’s four seasons and oversized armchair style chairs creating a trendy upscale ambiance.

The exclusive restaurant is located on deck 8 overlooking the tree-lined Central Park and opens for dinner from 6.00pm to 9.30pm. Signature features include a tasting menu with customised wine pairings. When paired with wine, the cover charge for 150 Central Park is $75, and without wine its $40 and each night offers a single, seven-course tasting menu (two different tasting menus are available during each cruise). Reservations are recommended as it tends to get booked up fairly quickly.

The unique dining experience embarks with a sampler of six different salts (listed below) each with its own unique flavour, colour and texture from around the world for use with the bread and unsalted butter.

The Vitality Cafe, located in the Vitality Spa and Fitness neighbourhood forward of deck 6 at the entrance to the spa, offers a selection of healthy fare throughout the day from speciality wraps to fresh fruit, yogurt, smoothies, protein drinks, freshly squeezed fruit juices and a variety of teas. Seating up to 56 guests, food is complimentary whilst all drinks are à la carte.

Breakfast specific snacks are served from 7.00am to 11.00am with all other snacks available until 9.00pm.
