The Santa Fe Dining Room on the Diamond Princess is one of 5 main dining rooms and is open for anytime dining at dinner time between 5.30pm and 10pm.

The menu for all five main dining rooms offer the same four course dinner options with set choices with the exception of one speciality dish specific to each room. Santa Fe's speciality is chicken or steak fajitas.

The option of an 'always available menu' is also provided including steaks, chicken breast and salmon, along with Lotus Spa healthy options.

The Savoy Dining Room on the Diamond Princess is one of 5 main dining rooms and is open on certain days for lunch serving a traditional British pub style lunch, and for anytime dining at dinner time between 5.30pm and 10pm.

The British style pub lunch is served between 11.30am and 2pm and includes classics such as steak and kidney pie and bangers and mash with bread and butter pudding for dessert and a selection of drinks ranging from Bass and Guinness to Strongbow cider.

The Vivaldi Dining Room is on the Plaza Deck of the Diamond Princess.

The Pacific Dining Room on the Diamond Princess is one of 5 main dining rooms and is open for afternoon tea from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and anytime dining at dinner time between 5.30pm and 10pm.

The menu for all five main dining rooms serve the same four course dinner options with set choices with the exception of one speciality dish specific to each room. The option of an 'always available menu' is also provided including steaks, chicken breast and salmon, along with Lotus Spa healthy options.

The Pacific Dining Room is on the Fiesta Deck of the Diamond Princess.

The International Dining Room on the Fiesta Deck serves open seating breakfast and lunch and traditional seating for dinner.

Open from around 7am to 9am for waiter served breakfast and 12 to 1.30pm on sea days for lunch, dinner seating is either 5.30pm or 8pm.

As with the other four main dining rooms the set menu is the same with the exception of one speciality dish specific to the International dining room.

Always available and Lotus healthy eating options are also offered including chicken, steak or salmon amongst other options.

Sabatini's is one of Diamond Princess' two select restaurants.

Located on the Promenade Deck, it opens for suite passengers only for breakfast between 7.30am and 10am, and then from 6.00pm to 11pm for all guests for dinner (subject to reservations).

The menu comprises of antipasti (hot and cold appetizers, soups and salads), pasta (featuring nightly speciality), second piatti (main course) and desserts.

Alfredo's Pizzeria on the Plaza Deck opens from 11am to 11pm and serves complimentary whole hand made pizzas with a sit down waiter service.

Drinks are available although side dishes and desserts aren't (but guests can visit the International Cafe to get a salad to take in with them if they wish).

Prego Pizzeria is a pool side eatery serving complimentary slices of Chicago style pizza.

Located conveniently by Neptunes Pool on the Lido Deck it opens from around 11am to 10pm.

The Sterling Steakhouse is located on the Lido Deck within the Horizon Court, and is the ship's second select dining room.

Open from 6.00pm to 11pm, guests can choose from a range of appetizers, soups and salads, seafood or steak and dessert.

The Trident Grill on the Lido Deck serves burgers, chicken breast sandwiches, hotdogs and fries.

It is ideally located for those by Neptunes pool and opens from around 11am to 10pm.

Sundaes is located in between the two pools midship on the Lido Deck, and serves a selection of ice creams and waffles.

Sundaes also serves complimentary popcorn for guests to enjoy whilst watching a movie under the stars on the overhead large screen.

Passengers can make use of the complimentary room service at any time of the day or night. For continental breakfast (offering fruit juice, cereals, Danish pastries, croissants, egg, cheese and bacon breakfast muffin, hot beverages and fruit) guests can fill in the breakfast card and place it on their door at night.

With coffee, iced tea and milk available round the clock, food options range from sandwiches served with either fries, crisps or coleslaw, soups and salads, hot dishes such as beef chilli, lasagne and burgers, and sweets such as chocolate cake or cookies.

For passengers wishing to enjoy a romantic dining experience with breathtaking views from their own balcony, this special room service option is available for either breakfast (at $32 per couple) or dinner ($50 per person).

Breakfast includes speciality pastries, fresh fruits, quiche, smoked salmon and other special treats served with half a bottle of champagne.

For dinner, personal dedicated wait staff serve a special dining experience on guests' stateroom balconies.

Dinner begins with a hosted cocktail party with fresh flowers and champagne followed by a deluxe four-course meal of appetisers, salad, main course such as lobster tail or juicy steak, rounded off by dessert.

The Chef's Table experience provides the chance to tour the ship's busy galley during dinner service, where the ship's executive chef previews the evenings menu with a selection of hors d'oeuvres and Champagne for guests to enjoy.

Guests are then taken to a private table in the main dining room to enjoy a specially created multi-course menu accompanied by selected wines to complement each course.

During the dessert course the chef re-joins the table to discuss the evenings menu and share their culinary knowledge.

Available for up to 10 passengers per night (which may include mixed groups), the experience can be booked either through the ships DINE telephone line or at the dining reservations table set up on the first night of the cruise.

The experience costs $95 per person and includes a complimentary copy of Princess' cookery book and photo taken at the private table with the chef.

Menus tend to be formed around regional specialities from a recent port visited and an example of one such menu includes (amongst other dishes):-

~ Shrimp margarita with Avocado and Mango
or Foie gras terrine on brioche

~ Asparagus risotto with lobster tail

~ Sangria granite

~ Trio of beef, veal and pork tenderloin
served with mashed potato, grilled
asparagus and charred cherry tomatoes

~ Baked Camembert with pine nuts and a port
wine reduction with walnut bread

~ Soft centre cake with marshmallows and
chocolate amaretto sauce

~ Coffee or tea and homemade amaretti
biscotti.

The International Café, located on the Plaza Deck, is open 24 hours a day and serves a selection of teas and coffees (additional charge) along with a range of pastries, doughnuts, cakes, desserts, sandwiches, salads and soup.

Ice Cream is also available at $1.50 for 3 scoops.

Guests wishing to make frequent use of the International Cafe can purchase a coffee card for $29 for 15 drinks (applicable items only).

Its location by the central plaza area with its own entertainment makes it a good place for a drink and light snack during the day and night.

Horizon Court is Diamond Princess' casual buffet style eatery.

Located aft of the Lido Deck, it opens from 5am to 6am serving a continental breakfast and from 6am to 11.30am serving a full self service style buffet breakfast with cooked to order eggs, bacon, cereals and fruit etc.

Lunch is served from 11.30 to 3.30pm and snacks from 3.30 to 5.30pm.

For dinner it becomes a waiter served bistro from 5.30pm to midnight.

Horizon court offers a range of different themed lunches from Italian to Asian.
