The Oasis Pool on deck 12 midship is the ship's outdoor pool flanked by four hot tubs, Topsiders Poolside Bar, Grill and Ice Cream Bar.

The area includes a mix of chairs and loungers and the pool features two separate areas, a larger 5.5ft deep pool and a smaller 4ft deep pool behind the main pool. The pool is also flanked by two spiralling water slides which stand apart from the pool and open from 10am to 6pm.

Open from 6am to 11pm, the pool deck plays host to live music and dancing and deck parties held late into the night.

A 37 foot lap pool ranging from 3ft deep at one end to 4ft at the other, is located in the Barong Spa on deck 11. Guests wishing to use this pool need to purchase a thermal pass.

The two golf cages on deck 13 open from 8am to 8pm enabling golfing enthusiasts to practise their swings whilst at sea. For those wishing to improve their game, PGA golf professionals are on hand for lessons on sea days from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm.

The Sports Court is located on deck 14 midship and open from 8am to 8pm. It plays host to basketball, volleyball, dodge ball and football tournaments.

Table Tennis is available on deck 12 by the kid’s Splash Down Pool area.

Shuffleboard is available on deck 7 (Promenade Deck) from 8am to 8pm.

Giant outdoor Chess and chequers is available on deck 13 aft.

Norwegian Star features a 400 metre (437 yards) outdoor jogging track on deck 13 of the ship with 4 laps equating to 1 mile or 1.6 km. It opens from 8am to 8pm (weather permitting).
