Mobile is located in the state of Alabama in the United States of America.

The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park features aircraft and vessels from World War II through Desert Storm. At Fort Conde Museum, learn about Mobile's 300 year history.

The Historic District on Lower Dauphin Street is where you can enjoy local cuisine, art and antique shopping and sightseeing.

The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception near Dauphin Street, dating back to 1850, is noted for it's stained glass windows.

The Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center & IMAX Theatre is a hands-on family museum is dedicated to the sciences and travelling exhibits.

Bellingrath Gardens and Museum Home is located about 25 miles south of port and is set in 65 acres of lush landscaping. Stroll in the gardens or tour the manor, filled with 18th century antiques. There are also eco-walks and a 45-minute wildlife spotting cruise aboard the "Southern Belle," docked at the estate.

Fresh fish and seafood such as oysters are local specialities or try a typical Southern BBQ.

Cruise ships dock at the Mobile Cruise Terminal, just south of the Alabama State Docks, on the banks of the Mobile River.

The Ft. Conde Museum & Welcome Centre is less than a quarter mile from the port and offers a historic look at old Mobile and helpful tourist information.

Taxis are available but do get snapped up quickly when ships are in port.

Moda!, the electric trolley system covers most of downtown Mobile. The nearest stop to the Port is about 1/4 mile away on Royal Street between Government and Church Streets.
